Ceramic Coating
Ceramic coating training in San Diego
Learn to prep, correct and coat paint over one weekend, on real cars, in a working detailing studio.
Most coating failures start before the bottle is opened. You learn paint inspection, decontamination and correction first, then application, leveling, curing and the aftercare that keeps a coating looking right.

What you learn in the studio
Eight skills over one weekend, from bare paint to a cured coating and a customer who knows how to look after it.
01
Inspect the paint
Read the paint before you touch it: defects, thin spots and paint depth, so you know what the car needs.
02
Decontaminate
Wash, clay and iron removal so nothing bonded to the paint ends up sealed under the coating.
03
Correct the paint
Single-stage correction to remove light defects, because a coating locks in whatever is underneath it.
04
Prep the panels
Panel wipe and prep so the coating bonds to bare, clean paint.
05
Know your coating
How the main coating types differ, and how to pick one for the car, the customer and the budget.
06
Apply and level
Application, flash times and leveling, panel by panel, without streaks or high spots.
07
Cure and check
Curing, inspecting under light and fixing high spots before they set.
08
Aftercare and pricing
Maintenance washes and what to tell customers, plus how to price coating jobs.
